Our co-founder, Dan Hatch, is a journalist with more than 25 years’ experience. He started his career in the Great Southern, where he spent three years covering the City of Albany and the Shire of Denmark.

After a move to Perth, he spent another three years covering local government at the Community Newspaper Group before moving to The West Australian, where he spent two years as the local government reporter.

Our other co-founder, Sarah Mitchell, has extensive experience in developing and delivering writing workshops, teaching people how to write with empathy, and developing messaging frameworks.
